Where do you source your pieces from?  

Every item in our collection is carefully sourced from across the UK, with a small number of pieces found in France. We handpick each one for its character, quality, and timeless design - nothing makes it into the shop unless we truly love it. 

Are your items vintage or new?  

Most of our pieces are vintage or antique, with a few newly made by artisan makers we trust. Any new pieces are designed by Alban Rae Home in collaboration with our makers to reflect the timeless style and values of the brand. If something is new, it will always be clearly marked. 

Do vintage items show signs of wear?  

Yes - and we see that as part of their story. We believe in celebrating the marks of time. Each patina, chip or worn edge adds to a piece’s character and history. You’ll always find clear descriptions and photos, so you know exactly what to expect. 

Can I reserve an item?  

Due to the unique nature of our stock, we’re not able to hold items. If you’ve fallen in love with something, we recommend purchasing it as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. 

Do you accept returns?  

We want you to love your order. If you’re not happy, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to arrange a return. You can view our full returns policy using the link in the footer of our homepage. 

How will my order be packaged?  

Sustainably and with care. We use eco-conscious materials wherever possible and make sure your order arrives safely - and feels special from the moment you open it. 

Do you ship internationally? 

At the moment we only ship within the UK. If this changes, we’ll update our website and let our newsletter subscribers know. To stay in the know you can subscribe to our newsletter. 

Do you work with interior designers or offer trade pricing?  

Yes, we love collaborating with designers and stylists. If you’re sourcing for a project or would like to enquire about trade pricing, just get in touch using our contact form - we’d love to hear from you. 

How often do you add new stock?
