Vintage Victorian 1860 Brown Salt Glazed Lidded Storage Pot with Handles

This vintage Victorian Nottingham-ware stew pot was traditionally produced in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. This classic and timeless kitchen lidded pot would make a beautiful styling piece on a kitchen surface or open shelving. As shown in the photos, there are some slight signs of wear around the rim of the lid and pot opening, demonstrating its history and adding to the character of this unique piece.

Made from solid stoneware, this vintage Victorian stew pot features a dark brown, tactile salt glaze and a unique 'cobbled' design etched into the surface, offering lovely texture and interest. This vintage Nottingham stew pot is one of two available in our shop, and while both are truly one of a kind, they pair beautifully together.

POSTAGE:

We understand the frustration of the unexpected additional spend on postage. For transparency we build the postage cost into our listing cost and include free Tracked 48 Royalmail postage for all of our pieces. However, if you want to receive the parcel via Tracked 24 Royalmail please select Express delivery at checkout. Please do note that this will only change the delivery time and not the processing and dispatch period. Of course, we will always endeavor to package and post your purchases as efficiently as possible.

RETURNS POLICY:

We are happy to accept returns, but please note that we are unable to refund the postage cost which was provided free for delivery and built into the overall listing price. For reference, smaller items that weigh less than 5 kgs generally cost between £2.95 - £5.85 to post. We are happy to provide the delivery cost of your item prior to purchase upon request.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if you wish to return your purchase.

Your purchase must then be returned within 30 days following receipt of goods.

We will then issue your refund once we have received your return with all piece/s in their original condition.

We are happy to gift wrap any pieces that you purchase for an additional £5 fee. Our gift wrapping is elegant, simple and timeless, and is also carefully considered using eco-friendly materials. We make our own wrapping paper from kraft paper, and our own greeting cards which can both be later recycled. Your card can be left blank for you to write your own message, or we are happy to handwrite your personal message in the card before sending it to the lucky recipient. We have attached a photo of one of our giftwrapped pieces for you to see the care that we put into this service.
